Ganpati festival rangoli ideas

Hello, all the rangoli lovers. I know, every time you sit to make a rangoli, you are first caught with the question of , what will make my rangoli design unique? Also, most of us would prefer the design to suit the occasion. So today, here is a design for the Ganesh festival. In India, this festival is one of the most loved and hence celebrated publicly on a large scale. And, yes the person who made this festival a publicly  celebrated one, is Sir Lokmanya Tilak.

So, below is a picture of a simple rangoli design, which will take only a few minutes to make. Read the description of the picture below as well.

A rat is said to be attending to the Hindu deity Lord Ganesha. It is believed that the Ganesha's favorite food item is the modaka. This rangoli in the picture above shows a rat taking pleasure of the modaka's which are served to the Lord Ganesha. In the Ganesh Festival, this rangoli would stand out from the traditional circular rangoli designs.
